The New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) is excited to announce planning for the OVS 2023 Conference, Resilience: Redefining Victim Services in an Age of Uncertainty is officially underway, and we are seeking volunteers to join our official Planning Committee.
This team of 12-15 members will meet virtually via ZOOM at 10am on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (starting in November). Committee members will play a crucial role in helping to shape Conference logistics, including topics of focus, key speakers, and overall agenda.
Key themes for the conference include:
Resilience for Program Directors
Resilience for advocates
Mass casualty response
Resilience of survivors
Victim Service Best Practices and News to be Used.
