Strong relationships and good morale improve team functioning and program effectiveness. For many programs and agencies, the strain of the last 11 months may have negatively impacted both relationships and morale. Individual staff may be feeling more stress than usual and may be in need of increased support. Most leaders are also feeling the strain and may find it difficult to provide any additional support.
To help Victim Assistance Programs (VAPs), the New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) has engaged our partners from the OVS Training and Technical Assistance Program (TTARP), Jenny Amstutz of JA Strategies and Alan Krieger from Krieger Solutions, to develop a Morale and Team Building Toolkit of simple strategies and activities to help your teams build morale, strengthen relationships, and encourage self-care.
On Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00am, Jenny Amstutz and Alan Krieger will provide a sneak peek of this exciting new tool. Please consider joining us for the Morale and Teambuilding Toolkit Launch Webinar to discuss:
How to use the Toolkit - this is not the job of any single leader – the Toolkit is set up to be shared and delegated!
How to help other staff within your programs plan and facilitate activities
Ways to add relationship building ice-breakers and closers into existing meetings
How to navigate through the toolkit
