The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services is partnering with the Institute for Disaster Mental Health and the Benjamin Center at SUNY New Paltz to conduct a First Responder Mental Health Needs Assessment, to include a survey about the mental health and wellness challenges facing the first responder community.
All survey responses will be anonymous, and it will take about 15 minutes to complete the survey. This information will help us understand the challenges that first responders face and the barriers to seeking and receiving care. The insights gained will also help inform the development of appropriate responses and interventions.
A link to the survey is also included below. Please consider completing the survey and sharing it with others in the first responder community.
